Do I need to bring my computer to a shop for setup or a custom build?
No. PC House Calls comes directly to your home or business throughout the Sacramento area, including Citrus Heights, Roseville, Folsom, Elk Grove, and more. You never have to unplug anything or haul equipment anywhere.
Can you transfer everything from my old computer to my new one?
Yes. We handle full data migration — documents, photos, emails, settings, and applications — from your old computer to your new one, on-site at your location. Nothing gets left behind.
What hardware upgrades can you perform?
We upgrade RAM, install larger or faster hard drives and SSDs, add improved processors, and install peripherals like scanners, cameras, and recording equipment. We can also upgrade your Windows operating system.
Can you build a custom PC to my specifications?
Absolutely. We design and build custom PCs tailored to your specific needs and budget — whether that's a home workstation, a business machine, or a high-performance system. We source the components and assemble everything for you.
Can you set up my home or business network and printer?
Yes. We design and install both wired and wireless networks for homes and businesses. We also install and configure printers and other connected devices so everything works together reliably.
How much does computer setup and design cost in Sacramento?
On-site rates are $100 for the first hour and $40 for each additional half-hour (Monday–Saturday, 9 AM–6 PM). Drop-off rates are $80 per hour. Senior citizens and active military members receive a $15 discount. See our full rates page for details.
